Vitali Egorov

Vitali Egorov (Russian: Вита́лий Его́ров) (born March 23, 1964 in Kharkov, Soviet Union (Ukrainian SSR)) is a former Soviet figure skater. He was the 1979 World Junior Champion. Skated for club "Zenit" of Leningrad region, and his coach was Alexei Mishin. On the USSR Cup competitions in Sverdlovsk in April of 1981 Egorov landed a triple axel jump (one of the firsts skaters in the world), taking third place. In the march of 1982 win the 5th USSR Winter Spartakiada. In 1983 and 1987 took second place in Winter Universiade. Egorov was a USSR national champion in 1984, and another four time a medalist of soviet championships. Now he is a coach in Kharkov.
